This is a boring blog with pictures of my family, my pets, and projects that I'm working on. I sew, garden, play with the equines, run, shop, read obsessively and have far too many hobbies to keep up with. Married, with 2 little kids that terrorize me: Leah is 8 and Eric is 11. Live on an acreage in Alberta, Canada with 1 horse and 1 pony, various outdoor cats, 1 fluffy hamster, 1 tiger salamander, and 2 hermit crabs. And that is AFTER cutting down on pets!

The Boat
Had our first ride in the new boat today. It goes fast. The kids had fun. My eyeballs got cold and dry from the wind. Must bring sunglasses next time.
Jennifer, congratulations on your new boat. She's quite nice looking. I'm sure you and your family will enjoy it very much. There's nothing like spending time on a boat and it looks like you certainly have a beautiful location to do so. I see you are in Alberta. Are you anywhere close to Sylvan Lake? Friends of ours had a cottage there so we visited when we were in Edmonton. It's a very pretty area! We boat on the Great Lakes waterways mainly Lakes Huron and Erie as well as the smaller connecting waters.
