The fabric used is mostly the leftovers from other sewing projects. Most are polyester/lycra, perhaps the blue is nylon/lycra, and the fun zig-zag shown below is probably poly with no lycra.
This is a boring blog with pictures of my family, my pets, and projects that I'm working on. I sew, garden, play with the equines, run, shop, read obsessively and have far too many hobbies to keep up with. Married, with 2 little kids that terrorize me: Leah is 8 and Eric is 11. Live on an acreage in Alberta, Canada with 1 horse and 1 pony, various outdoor cats, 1 fluffy hamster, 1 tiger salamander, and 2 hermit crabs. And that is AFTER cutting down on pets!

Custom Boy Shorts
Okay, for all the world to look at, here are my underwear. I sewed them. Yes, you can sew underwear. It's easy, cheap, custom fitted and better quality.

The fabric used is mostly the leftovers from other sewing projects. Most are polyester/lycra, perhaps the blue is nylon/lycra, and the fun zig-zag shown below is probably poly with no lycra.

Jennifer, What a nice way to use leftover fabric from other projects. What pattern did you use?
ReplyDeleteCennetta, I copied some boy shorts that I bought from Sears. They were on the sale rack, and of course, by the time I realized that I really liked them, I couldn't find them in the store.
