This is a boring blog with pictures of my family, my pets, and projects that I'm working on. I sew, garden, play with the equines, run, shop, read obsessively and have far too many hobbies to keep up with. Married, with 2 little kids that terrorize me: Leah is 8 and Eric is 11. Live on an acreage in Alberta, Canada with 1 horse and 1 pony, various outdoor cats, 1 fluffy hamster, 1 tiger salamander, and 2 hermit crabs. And that is AFTER cutting down on pets!

Collecting eggs
I am taking care of my neighbour's chickens, cats and greenhouse while she is on vacation. And that includes collecting eggs, around 19-20 everyday, a mix of dark brown, tan, green and one mini!

I can't wait until our Americanas start laying eggs. They lay the pretty green ones. And your bio sounds as if we have quite a bit in common...except I'm in Texas and working part-time outside the house. But love my home time. STILL eating jam from last summer. Why I canned it...idk...we don't really eat jam. ?.?
